Re-wild Yourself, Resting in Nature on a Weekend Camping Yoga Retreat at Knepp Safari and the Yoga Garden
Come and spend the whole weekend in nature’s spa, practising yoga in the yurt at the Yoga Garden and camping under the stars at Knepp Safari. Settling and grounding, resting in nature, a whole weekend of yoga, meditation, walking and wild swimming.
This nurturing weekend includes two nights’ camping with access to the fabulous campsite facilities, inspirational nutritious meals and refreshments, six sessions of yoga and meditation in the beautiful yurt at the Yoga Garden, an evening sound bath and a morning sauna. Just bring your tent and bedding.

Although this is an active weekend it will be deeply restful and an all-round act of kindness for yourself and the environment. Why not make it an extra long Bank Holiday weekend? You might like to book a safari for the Friday morning, Sunday afternoon or Monday and an extra night camping. There is an amazing restaurant and cafe on the Knepp Estate or the nearby Crown pub if you are planning to stay for longer.
This retreat is restricted to 10 people. Early booking recommended.

Friday
Easing into your weekend on Friday afternoon with somatic and restorative yoga to settle and ground us, we then enjoy a delicious supper, yoga Nidra and campfire, before bedtime under the stars.
Saturday
On Saturday morning a gentle waking for a walking meditation and early morning walk around Knepp Safari while everything is still quiet and peaceful, followed by an uplifting Hatha yoga practice in the yurt. We enjoy a bountiful brunch, then the afternoon is yours to rest around the camp. There will be time for a massage or swim, or another walk exploring further corners of Knepp. A light afternoon tea and later a somatic and restorative yoga and meditation practice will be followed by supper and a sound bath.
Sunday
Sunday will start with rise and shine yoga and breakfast, then a sauna and swim with Kindred Sauna. You might want to book a safari with Knepp or a massage and spend another day relaxing in nature. We will finish with a late lunch together.

Knepp Estate
The Knepp Estate : a trailblazing 3,500-acre rewilding project that has changed the way we think about nature and how we can heal our planet.

Since rewilding just twenty years ago, endangered species such as nightingales, turtle doves and purple emperor butterflies have found sanctuary here. The sheer abundance of life is mind-blowing. Herds of old English longhorn cattle, Tamworth pigs, Exmoor ponies and red and fallow deer wander the landscape, their disturbance shaping the water meadows, shrubland and wood pasture, creating new habitats for wildlife. Knepp’s dynamic, rebounding ecosystem is a story of hope, showing how nature can bounce back if we let it. Thousands of nature-lovers come here to take in the astonishing sights and sounds.
