Kelly Jarvis
I studied Physical Education, Dance, and Sports & Exercise Science at Brighton university in 2012. Since then, I have remained deeply fascinated by the body, movement, and the ways we inhabit ourselves.
This curiosity led me to train as a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer, and Fitness Instructor before gradually finding my way into more holistic, spiritual, and philosophically rooted practices.
Following this path, I became a yoga teacher, trained in London in the styles of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, completing my first 200-hour teacher training with Imir Frazer. I further explored Yin and Restorative practices at Yoga Campus with Adelene Cheong, and in 2022, I completed my Level 7 500 hours Yoga Therapy training with the Minded Institute, becoming a fully qualified Yoga Therapist.
I am also a devotional Kirtan singer. My practice and understanding of Kirtan have been deeply nurtured by my teachers: Gratia Churchill, Sasha, Ellen Arthur and Claire Missingham.
The offerings I share today are drawn not only from my studies, but also from the tapestry of my own life experiences. I have walked through the pain of loss, the grief of losing a parent, and the personal journey of healing from health challenges. I have faced moments that changed me to my core.
Through it all, I have had practices and caring spiritual teachers to guide me, to share their knowledge, and to hold my hand. Now, I am here to hold yours.
