Each walk ranges from 8 to 12 kilometers, offering the perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment.
In addition to invigorating hikes and nourishing meals, you'll enjoy a meditation session, yin yoga class, healing sound baths, and a transformative cacao ceremony, all designed to help you relax, rejuvenate and recalibrate.

'Hello, lovely souls! As you consider joining our small, exclusive, transformative wellness retreat I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about myself and my journey.
For the past four decades, my passion has revolved around helping people look and feel their absolute best. It all began when I opened my first beauty salon in Bath in 1981. Assisting my clients in achieving their skin goals brought me immense joy and fulfillment. However, as time went on, I started delving deeper into the world of nutrition and its profound impact on our overall well-being.
Around 15 years ago, I stumbled upon Kundalini yoga and meditation, and it completely transformed my life. This practice became a powerful tool that allowed me to navigate stress with grace, harness the power of breath, and shift my emotional state. The incredible technology behind Kundalini yoga offered me life-changing hacks to renew and recharge myself.
Over the years, I have been humbled and honored to share these teachings and witness the profound healing experienced by my students. It has been an absolute joy to witness their restoration, revitalisation and transformation. Now, I feel incredibly blessed to bring all of these elements together for you and your friends to experience during our 4 night retreat at Quinta do Rio.

The Shred Healthy Eating Plan
During this retreat you will be Introduced to the Shred Healthy Eating Plan, meticulously crafted by Dr. Mitra Ray, a renowned biochemist and cellular biology PhD. This program focuses on detoxifying and nourishing your body with the right nutrients, enabling you to shed unwanted fat and achieve long-term health and weight loss goals.
What sets this plan apart is its simplicity. By eliminating certain elements from your diet and incorporating specific practices, you can experience remarkable results. We say goodbye to sugar, processed foods, takeaways, caffeine, alcohol, gluten, and dairy. Instead, embrace more water, exercise, and the habit of finishing your meals by 6 or 7 pm at very latest. Prioritise getting plenty of sleep to support your overall well-being.
The day starts with warm water and lemon or lime. Followed by a health shot and a nutritious breakfast smoothie bowl. For lunch, indulge in our delectable plant-based protein shakes. Our evening meal will align with the shred principles.
