Set in the awe-inspiring landscape of the South Downs, the very beautiful and historic Tilton House offers unimaginable calm, within acres of magic.
We have created a deeply healing, nourishing and creative Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, to inspire and invigorate your emergence from the depths of Winter into Spring.
Expect a combination of Indo-Tibetan yogas and meditation practice, taught twice daily, with nourishing periods of Yoga Nidra. A weekend carefully curated to suspend time, nourish, re-energise and awaken.
Pottery master, Tom Butcher (www.tombutcherceramics.co.uk) will be joining to teach a workshop, where each participant will be set up on a simple handmade workstation, Japanese style, learning to hand build an individual piece to keep, which Tom will then take away and fire at his studio. Absolutely no experience necessary.

YOUR YOGA TEACHERS

SAMANTHA ROY
Sam has been practising yoga for 15 years, and has +1000 hours of yoga & meditation training. What originally started as purely a physical practice awakened her journey towards a spiritual one. Coming from a dance background, (which brought about major injury) her practice combines a strong sense of discipline - but with awareness - together with a deep respect for what the body has to teach us.
Sam’s influences & interests come from many traditional systems, drawing from the core central themes & similarities to teach authentically and from direct experience. As a student of the Tibetan Kagyu Lineage, it is the practices and philosophies of Tibetan Buddhism that profoundly inform Sam’s approach to contemporary yoga, the purpose being ultimately to experience deep transformation and to connect with our original uncontrived and blissful state.

TOM BUTCHER
Tom has run his own pottery for 20 years. Based in Brighton, he works closely with some of the UK's most exciting & prestigious chefs producing bespoke beautiful and functional tableware, inspired both by the Japanese principle of Wabi-Sabi, where imperfections are necessary for full appreciation of the object, together with Scandinavian simplicity of form and tone. Tom also runs regular workshops, teaching people both hand building and throwing techniques, which he thoroughly enjoys.
