Teacher - Lizaan Joubert
Known as Lizi to her students and the yoga community, you will meet her as a practitioner. Teaching Yoga is part of her belief that the practice rests in the heart of being a Student to life, and that everyone is your teacher.
Her work as a practitioner and facilitator is inspired by her own life path being a traveller and experiences living many lives. She began a deep path of inquiry when she took a sabbatical turning 30 and she was introduced to the Patanjali System, when living in Thailand through practices of Ashtanga Vinyasa which she stumbled upon.
Lizi is (E-500RYT) teacher and her teachings are derived from her passion to learn from her teachers annually, and share with her students, during intimate weeks in retreat. And classes she now teaches live and online around the world.
The Chinese 5 Elements
Understanding how the Elements of Life in Nature coexist in harmony have been part of every Shamanic, Tantric and Native African school of thought. We explore the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) this week, and their phases.
Insight on how the five elements can support, but also affect our health is part of what makes TCM powerful as a modality. We can also develop a deeper Yoga practice to support our conditions and balance through the elements and nature.
The basic five elements are wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Yoga practices are inspired in each element and Lizi will explain the target area of the body highlighting the element, different body organs, flavours, senses, emotions and weather conditions that are connected and associated with each season.
Cold Water Therapy
Cold water rituals will be held during this week to explore what state your (our) nervous system is resting in, but more importantly how you can begin to regulate it.
Using this method of Water as a medium for healing and strengthening your bodies subtly and anatomical responses to the conditions (elements) of life.
Practice Inspirational Breathing
Inspirational Breathing is a technique that fully opens up the respiratory system — sometimes for the first time ever — and floods the body with life affirming energy and life force.
As we work at a deep level, alongside the breathwork, there will be support for you to understand your triggers and resulting behaviours. You will have an opportunity to re write the script and experientially create new outcomes. This is a liberating and game changing opportunity, re evaluating, learning and honing the tools to create your best life.
On this special retreat you will have the opportunity to experience a 2 hour workshop with Inspirational Breathing founder, Nicola Price - and also work with her on a 1-2-1 basis
Menus - Chaya Kitchen
Using the bountiful abundance of local fruit and vegetables Ibiza has to offer, Chaya Kitchen will prepare delicious, plant-based meals for you.
Our head chef, Laura Paine, will curate and create menus full of tasty super foods, designed to nourish and delight you, whilst energising and brightening you from the inside out.
Everything created in the kitchen is home made, refined salt, sugar and gluten free, with some optional, occasional well-sourced local dairy.

Ibiza's tangible magic and stunning beauty offers the perfect location for this retreat. Ibiza is a tiny island which pretty much has everything you need; from peaceful mountain hikes and sunset swims in hidden coves, to heritage architecture, fun shopping, fine dining and lots more.
The retreat will take place in a gorgeous, luxurious villa ‘Can Pep De Suagita’, nestled in the heart of the countryside, in the north of the island near the pretty village of San Juan de Labritja.
